A worried Quinn was able to determine Liam's condition during his periods of consciousness. When Eric asked about Brooke working at Spencer Publications, Katie assured him she was certain her sister and Bill had only a professional relationship. Meanwhile, Brooke and Bill admitted to each other that it was hard to keep a lid on their mutual attraction. After overhearing a private conversation, Katie revisited a painful time in her life. Quinn inadvertently discovered what had happened to Liam before she encountered him in the parking lot. Liam shocked Quinn by asking a very insightful question. Eric lent his shoulder to an upset Brooke as she confided about her fight with Katie. Planning to give Katie a special gift, Bill was caught off-guard when Katie delivered a surprise of her own. Wyatt gave Steffy a present to help her move on, but Steffy was afraid to accept it because of what it would signify.

Eric was arrested as soon as he was released from the hospital. Theresa bitterly resented the new connection between Nicole and Brady. Belle let Eve have it for meddling with Claire. Victor put Deimos to the test. Nicole, Chloe and Parker tried to control their grief on the day of Daniel's funeral, while Abigail helped JJ deal with this death. Eric found a way to pay tribute to his friend even though he didn't attend the funeral. Melanie ran into Theresa and Brady before she left town. Brady grilled Flynn about the dreams he was having concerning Daniel in California. Ciara made a startling discovery about Chase at the Horton cabin.

Sonny and Carly became more concerned about Morgan, who told Kiki he wanted to take things to the next level. Julian warned Ava to get out of his way. Paul fretted about how much Kiki knew about his relationship with Ava. Jake took Jason's news badly, revealing to Jason just how disturbed the boy was. Carlos came through for Sabrina as never before. Robert and Anna uncovered frightening evidence. Sonny discovered what Ava really was up to.

Upon discovering that Dr. Anderson was trying to have her committed, Sage hit the doctor. Later, Adam told Nick he was responsible for Sage's condition. As things started to improve between Abby and Max, she took the little boy to the lab, and Max was fascinated with the place. After the two of them left, Ashley pulled Simon into a kiss. A furious Chelsea began to realize that Adam might be conspiring with the Santori family, and Marisa confessed to her that Adam and Luca had teamed up to destroy both their fathers. Luca asked Adam when he would have incriminating evidence to use against Victor, and, later, Adam showed Victor a dossier that Luca had given him on his father. Adam then told Chelsea the truth: He's working with Victor to destroy Luca and his family.
