Director Andres Muschietti's adaptation of the classic Stephen King horror novel "It" arrives in theaters Sept. 7.
"It" is better known as Pennywise the Dancing Clown, the form he takes most often. But It thrives on fear, and when hunting children — It's favorite pastime — It is able to transform into what It's victims fear the most.
In the novel, one of the main characters, having recently seen Lon Chaney in the 1941 horror classic "The Wolf Man," is terrified of werewolves. When he is chased by Pennywise, the already-creepy clown begins to mutate into a werewolf.
We asked readers: if you were walking home tonight, turned the corner and ran into Pennywise, what would be turn into for you?
