'Let It Snow' filming in Millvale
CBS Films officially announced the cast of “Let It Snow,” which has been shooting in the Pittsburgh area since December, as production crews began filming at the corner of Lincoln and North avenues in Millvale, where Pamela's P&G diner is situated.
The holiday comedy stars Academy Award winners Alan Arkin, Diane Keaton and Marisa Tomei, along with John Goodman, Ed Helms, Anthony Mackie, Amanda Seyfried, Jon Tenney, Academy Award nominee June Squibb and Olivia Wilde (“Rush”).
“Let It Snow” follows the exasperated members of an extended family as they attempt to gather for their annual holiday celebration.
The movie, which also has used the Diamond in Ligonier as a backdrop, is directed by Jessie Nelson (“I Am Sam”) from a screenplay by Steven Rogers (“P.S. I Love You”).
Filming is expected to be completed by March. It is scheduled to be released Nov. 13.
