Documentary on ‘Fast and Furious’ star Paul Walker coming this summer

The ending of ” Fast and Furious 7 ” was known to bring grown men to tears.
And now, a documentary on the life of action movie star Paul Walker is in the works.
As reported by Variety and other entertainment outlets, Paramount Network, Network Entertainment and filmmaker Derik Murray will create “I Am Paul Walker,” a documentary on the life and death of the “Fast and the Furious” actor.
“The film will include interviews from Walker’s castmates and friends,” Variety reported.
Adrian Buitenhuis will direct and Jon Slusser and Jaimee Kosanke will serve as executive producers.
The documentary is set to premiere this summer. According to Entertainment Weekly , it will be on the Paramount Network streaming platform.
Murray has previously produced restrospectives on celebrities including Heath Ledger, Bruce Lee and Evil Knievel.
Walker was 40 years old when he was killed in a car crash in November 2013 in Valencia, Calif.
Walker had been on a break from filing the seventh installment in the “Fast and Furious” franchise; filmmakers used computer imagery and Walker’s brothers , Caleb and Cody, to complete the film.
Wiz Khalifa’s tribute to Walker, ” See You Again ,” was featured on the “Fast and the Furious 7” soundtrack. Its video became the first for a hip-hop song to hit 1 billion views on YouTube.
It now has about 3.4 billion views.
