Food trucks will be on site through October at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Greensburg during special free admission hours. The Kona Ice truck (pictured) is scheduled for Aug. 8.

You can work up an appetite looking at all the great art in The Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Greensburg.

Starting tonight, the museum has a fix for that — at least on certain days.

From Aug. 1 through October, during free admission hours from 5-7 p.m. Wednesdays and on “All About You! Free Admission Sundays,” from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on the first Sunday of the month, munchies will be available from food trucks in the parking lot of the museum at 221 N. Main St.

Featured tonight will be The Yard Mobile Eatery , based in Connellsville and featuring unique sandwiches, salads and desserts made from fresh ingredients.

The food truck from Elegant Catering in Youngwood is scheduled for Aug. 5.

The food truck schedule is listed on the museum website. The line-up is subject to change, and trucks will be on site weather permitting.

Information also will be posted on The Westmoreland’s social media channels.

Free admission Wednesday evenings are sponsored by First Commonwealth Bank, while free Sunday hours come courtesy of The Committee for The Westmoreland.
