Slow down and enjoy free Family Day at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art
Entertainment and activities for all ages are promised as The Westmoreland Museum of American Art hosts a free Family Day 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 25.
The mythical Hungarian steelworker has achieved legendary status as a folk hero dedicated to the production of steel.
“The Westmoreland is looking forward to having the community join us for our fall Family Day,” says Joan McGarry, director of education and visitor engagement, in a release.
“We are excited to be collaborating with the Westmoreland Library Network, who will be presenting three projects related to literary arts during the event,” she says.
The museum sponsors Family Day twice a year, spring and fall. The event is presented in partnership with the Westmoreland Library Network and is sponsored by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and the Jack Buncher Foundation.
