Mt. Pleasant historical society to hold car show
Mt. Pleasant Area Historical Society will hold its inaugural car show 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Mt. Pleasant Glass Centre, the former Lenox factory on Route 31 about a mile east of Mt. Pleasant Borough.
There is an entry fee of $5 per vehicle, with the first 50 entrants receiving dash plaques. Admission is free for spectators.
The event is open to cars, trucks and motorcycles.
DJ Sykes of Firebyte Audio will provide musical entertainment.
Mt. Pleasant-themed souvenirs will be available for purchase, including new shot glasses sporting the historical society logo.
Food trucks, raffles and a Chinese auction will be featured.
In the event of rain, the show will be rescheduled for Aug. 12.
