Kennametal’s Young Engineers Program founded in Latrobe has 26 fresh graduates, this time in Ohio.

The inaugural class of the Kennametal Foundation’s program at Solon High School in Ohio completed classroom discussions and hands-on projects, with mentoring by Kennametal Inc.’s research, development and engineering team, the company said Wednesday. The industrial tooling company, based in Unity, has a production facility in Solon.

Young Engineers started in 2011 at Greater Latrobe High School.
