The average price for regular gasoline in the Pittsburgh region declined about a penny a gallon during the past week, according to GasBuddy.com‘s weekly survey of 731 stations in the region.

The average price this week is $3.32 a gallon, down 0.7 cents from last week, and down nearly 12 cents a gallon over the last 30 days.

Nationally, the average price for regular gas increased 1.6 cents to $3.21 a gallon this week.

“Surprisingly, the decreases we’ve seen in the national average have all but dried up,” GasBuddy.com analyst Patrick DeHaan said. “I’m hopeful that an uptick in the national average is merely temporary.”
