The woman was identified as Alexa Greenfield and she was at the tennis event with her nephews. She spoke to several media outlets after the clip went viral to explain her eating habits.
Greenfield told TMZ that she’s been dunking her tenders in ice cold Coca-Cola since she was young. It’s something her dad taught her as a way to cool the food down.
She shared with Sports Illustrated that it always has to be Coke, not Diet Coke or other soda. But then she doesn’t drink the soda because it gets too greasy from the dunking.
SI posted a whole Q&A with Greenfield about the dunking.
And she shared with FOX 5 in New York City that people are saying (jokingly, we hope) that she should go to jail . She said saw kidding with her nephews and that she said it’s a little weird but don’t tell anyone. And then the cameras caught her.
After the clip went viral many folks posted to Twitter critiquing the dunking …
