Out & About: Westmoreland County Blind Association Visions of Springtime gala
Greensburg Country Club was dressed for the season April 15 during Visions of Springtime to benefit the Westmoreland County Blind Association.
The table centerpieces were daffodils, tulips and hydrangeas, painted yellow by Kelly Cervi of the Wedding Boutique in Greensburg. There were tables brimming with pink and green candies and flower-shaped sweets from Cupcake Crazy Bakery and More in Mt. Pleasant.
Dinner was followed by dancing to the music of James Kendall Productions of Pittsburgh, plus raffles and games of chance.
The blind association employs physically and intellectually challenged persons through its document destruction program, while the blind and visually impaired work on products for the Department of Defense, hospitals and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
