Adam Lambert sang Cher's 1998 pop hit 'Believe' and turned it into a power ballad during the 2018 Kennedy Center Honors.

Adam Lambert, Queen’s acting frontman, took the stage during the 2018 Kennedy Center Honors with a moving rendition of Cher’s “Believe.” It brought the diva to tears.

His power ballad did not go unnoticed by the masses (and Cher):

The ceremony, which also honored Reba McEntire, composer Philip Glass, jazz sax player Wayne Shorter, and Broadway’s Hamilton, took place earlier this month but was finally broadcast on Wednesday, reports.
