Models walked the runway in the hottest looks for fall from INC, Thalia Sodi, Levi's, Jessica Simpson and Tommy Hilfiger on Sept. 24 at Macy's in Ross Park Mall.

Macy's Presents Fashion's Front Row runway show was part of the sixth annual Pittsburgh Fashion Week. The standing-room only crowd enjoyed five scenes showcasing looks such as jeans, a denim shirt, fur vest, red bag, shoes and watch from INC, which recently celebrated 30 years.

Tommy Hilfiger was showcased with its signature plaids and striped dresses while the Levi's styles showed how to dress up or down a pair of your favorite denim pants, including lots of jean colors in addition to standard blue.

The Thalia Sodi collection consisted of colors, prints and patterns while the Jessica Simpson line featured a blue dress – a hot color this fall.

TV host and lifestyle expert Anji Corley and Pittsburgh Fashion Hall of Fame inductee Ashley Boynes-Shuck, a fashion blogger, co-hosted the show wearing outfits from Ce Ce by Cynthia Steffe at Macy's. Corley sported a white dress with black tie and black shoes while Boynes-Shuck donned a green dress and vest. They kept the audience involved by asking questions and interacting with them getting their thoughts on the fashions.

Corley said she was honored to co-host the show where she has walked the runway in the past. She's done shows for the store in locations across the country.

Macy's chose the looks through the New York office, and the models from Docherty Model and Talent Agency based in Pittsburgh.

“It was a great show,” says Deb Docherty, owner of the model agency. “And the girls were fantastic. I think it is great that this was a suburban show because women who live outside the city can get to this location faster than downtown. I also love to see what the latest trends in fashion this season.”

What is nice about Macy's doing a show is that the store has the entire outfit from clothing to shoes to accessories and makeup, says Miyoshi Anderson, Pittsburgh Fashion Week executive director. The store hosted mini beauty makeovers courtesy of Lancome, and mini-manicures from OPI, and hors d'oeuvres by Savoy in the Strip District.

“It is so wonderful to have Macy's involved ,” says Anderson. “They have been a wonderful partner with Pittsburgh Fashion Week the past four years. They host a fabulous event. They always knock it out of the park.”

Pittsburgh Fashion Week wraps up with the “Back-to-Basics Student Runway Show” at 7 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Downtown.
