The brothers Wahlberg open Wahlburgers Restaurant in The Block Northway. The trio will be at the restaurant from 2 to 5 p.m. June 1.

The name Wahlberg may be most commonly associated with brothers Mark and Donnie, who act and sing.

The name Wahlburgers is associated with those brothers and a third, Paul Wahlberg, executive chef of the family partnership that is Wahlburgers Restaurant .

The trio, Boston natives, recently opened a Pittsburgh location at the Block Northway , 6242 Northway Drive, Ross, offering a menu of upscale bar favorites along with a full-service bar.

Wahlburgers' menu includes fresh-made burgers, housemade condiments, crispy haddock, seared chicken and vegetarian options, according to a release. Other signature items include Mom's Sloppy Joe, thin crispy onion rings, tater tots, frappes and floats, along with gluten-free items.

Wahlburgers debuted in 2011 in Hingham, Mass., boasts a fun, casual, music-filled atmosphere and is the subject of an A&E reality show.

Bar options include adult frappes, cocktails, wines and beers, including the signature Wahlbrewski, a custom, unfiltered Pale Ale by Harpoon Brewery in Boston.

"My brothers and I look forward to our first restaurant in Pittsburgh. I have enormous respect for the city and its heritage. We wish you happy holidays and welcome you to Wahlburgers," Mark Wahlberg says in a release.

Open daily for lunch and dinner, the restaurant uses a split service concept in which patrons can choose full-table service, quick-serve at the counter or takeout.
