Happy Galentine's Day! According to the NBC sitcom 'Parks and Recreation,' Feb. 13, the day before Valentine's Day, is a day for gals to leave their guys at home and celebrate their female friendships.

And what, exactly, is Galentine's Day? As Amy Poehler's Leslie Knope explained in a 2014 episode of "Parks and Recreation":

"Oh it's only the best day of the year! Every February 13th, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and boyfriends at home, and we come and kick it, breakfast style. Ladies celebrating ladies. It's like Lilith Fair, minus the angst. Plus frittatas."
