Yanny/Laurel mindbender escalates to Brainstorm/Green Needle
By now you've either analyzed the Yanny/Laurel audio phenomenon or written it off as meaningless internet chatter. But the digital world has moved on to the next mind-bending sound clip.
The Yanny vs. Laurel debate centered around an audio recording of a voice speaking a single word. This word sounded like either Laurel or Yanni depending on who was listening and on what type of device. It seemed that the listener's ear was detecting different frequencies depending upon that person's ability to hear selected tones.
The new puzzle works a bit differently. The same person will hear either "brainstorm" or "green needle" depending on which phrase the listener is thinking about. Same ears. Different thoughts. Different words.
guys....play this clip with the audio on.If you think of the word 'Brainstorm' you will hear Brainstorm. If you think of the words 'Green Needle' you will hear Green Needle. We are officially in the matrix and I have no idea what is going on pic.twitter.com/PAwWlTn0GN
