The popular Art on Tap happy hour returned on Nov. 13 to the “new” Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Greensburg, looking more popular than ever by the size of the crowd.
Happy hour regulars and others curious to see the results of a major expansion and renovation — not to mention recent stunning art acquisitions — jammed the halls, stairways and cantilevered community room with its sweeping views of the city.
It was standing-room-only in the community room for live music and light bites from The Kitchen on Main in Ligonier.
Upstairs, guests strolled quietly through the galleries.
Some were there just to appreciate the art. Others were busy identifying fragments of artworks for a chance at scavenger hunt prizes from G Squared Gallery in Ligonier, owned by the evening’s hosts, H and Pat Childs.
