ALL THAT JAZZ: From left: Nina Edgar of Youngwood and Merle Bielick of Greensburg at a Great American Music Series concert, featuring jazz by the Bone Forum, on Dec. 13 at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Greensburg.

Although bandleader Kevin McManus couldn’t make it, his Pittsburgh-based trombone ensemble, The Bone Forum, played the Dec. 13 date of the Great American Music Series at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Greensburg. Sitting in were Bob Matchett and Mark Lusk, along with Colton Dietz, a Norwin High School senior and protege of renowned jazz trombonist Harold Betters. Another treat for guests was a complimentary hot chocolate bar with plenty of festive fixings, like candy canes, cinnamon sticks, marshmallows and chocolate chips.
