'An American in Paris' was co-produced on Broadway by Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera.
The regional summer theater season gets jump-started next week, with the Pittsburgh debut of “An American in Paris,” based on the 1951 movie starring Pittsburgh native Gene Kelly. The show is a joint production of Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera and PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh, and it runs May 30 to June 11.

But there's plenty more to see this summer.
