Cirque du Soleil juggler Johan Juslin of Finland performs on the Mt. Washington Overlook in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2018, in advance of the Cirque shows coming to PPG Paints Arena from Jan. 16-20, 2019.

Cirque du Soleil is bringing its unique brand of acrobatic performance back to Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena in 2019.

The Jan. 16-20 limited production, titled “Corteo,” will have seven performances.

The show features the atmosphere of a carnival as seen through the eyes of a clown.

The set will feature hand-painted curtains inspired by the Eiffel Tower, and the cast of 51 includes acrobats, musicians, singers and actors from around the world.
