Suspect in McKeesport homicide surrenders

A 25-year-old man is charged with homicide in the July 16 killing of a McKeesport woman and the attempted homicide of a man who was left in critical condition following the shooting.

Daniel L. Bizzelle Jr., also of McKeesport, surrendered to authorities on Wednesday evening, and was taken to Allegheny County Jail to await arraignment. He is charged with homicide, attempted homicide, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and firearms violations.

The shooting took place on the 1000 block of Fifth Avenue in McKeesport, resulting in the death of Samantha Klavora, 23, according to county authorities. Police did not release the name of the 38-year-old man who was shot.
