Detectives get warrant for North Braddock shootings

The Allegheny County police a looking for a suspect they believe was involved in two North Braddock shootings earlier this week.

Courde Daye, 20, known as “Dae Dae” is wanted for the Monday and Tuesday shootings in a business at 621 Jones Ave.

When found, Daye will be charged with aggravated assault, robbery and a firearms violation in connection with the Monday shooting of a 46-year-old man in his leg.

The wounded man was in a hospital with non-life threatening injury.

Daye will also face aggravated assault, criminal attempt homicide and a firearms violation for the Tuesday shooting in which an 85-year-old man was wounded by several gunshots.

The elderly man is in critical condition in an area hospital, police said.

County detectives said Daye should be “regarded as armed and dangerous.”
