Bob's Diner is opening this summer at 1870 Painters Run Road, Scott Township.

The diner will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, except for Sunday, when there's no dinner. Hours are 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Takeout will be available.

INTENSITY is a MAX interval training class taught by a certified INTENSITY teacher. Piloxing is a fusion of pilates, boxing and dance. PiYo is a combination of pilates and yoga moves done at a faster pace to upbeat music for maximum strength conditioning and flexibility. The Rev. John D. Donahue is now is pastor of SS. Simon and Jude Parish, Green Tree. He also is the chaplain of Bishop Canevin High School.

Maureen Torcasi, director of the SS. Simon and Jude Early Childhood Center, Scott Township, and Mary Joan Shanafelt, intermediate and upper-level teacher at Holy Child School, Bridgeville, were two of eight teachers in Catholic schools in the Diocese of Pittsburgh who won the 2014 Golden Apple Award for excellent performance in the classroom, church and community. Each received a $5,000 grant as part of the award.
