A website, social media and word of mouth have helped spread the news about Divine Mayhem Studios, the photography business of Bridgeville resident Jason Furda.
Capturing live music events and photographing the City of Pittsburgh are some of his favorite subjects, but weddings are his favorite business events to photograph.
Born in Washington, he has owned a camera since he was 9 years old. He has a bachelor's degree in applied media arts with a concentration in photography from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, exhibiting at the Erie Art Museum and being published in Silvervision Magazine while on campus.
He has been operating his own photography business since 2005.
Locally, he has exhibited at LaBella Bean in Bridgeville, Most Wanted Fine Arts in Garfield, Mr. Small's in Millvale, and the Urban Elite Gallery in Oakland.
For more information, visit his studios at divinemayhem.com.
Heather Harvey recently opened Harvey Parties in Heidelberg. With a bachelor's and master's degrees in elementary and special education, she has turned her love of teaching and passion for entertaining children into a party-planning business.
Although children's parties are one of her most popular services, she also has planned and coordinated baby showers, bridal showers, and adult milestone birthday parties in venues that range from homes and outdoor spaces to rental halls.
