Car cruise rolling into Fox Chapel church

Cruise into the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fox Chapel on June 2 for a glimpse at hotrods and vintage cars.

The second annual Car Cruise will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church parking lot, 1610 Powers Run Road.

“Enjoy perusing fabulous cars and listening to fun music,” church volunteer Patrick King said.

The event will be hosted in memory of late parishioner Rudy Molnar.

Admission is free with a donation of canned goods to be given to North Hills Community Outreach food pantry, or a financial donation for NHCO's Transportation Assistance program.

There will be food for sale and raffles.

Members of Good Shepherd regularly fill their schedules with community outreach. In April, members collected items to fill 41 Easter baskets that were distributed through the St. Vincent De Paul Food Bank in Sharpsburg. They also braved a rainy morning to clear leaves and other lawn debris from the church grounds.

In March, members packed boxes of food for the Springdale Food Pantry.
