Jacoby Road in Indiana Township is closed at least four weeks while crews install a new storm water culvert.

Reconstruction of the road will cost about $198,000.

Jacoby will be posted closed at Rich Hill Road, off Route 910, and physically closed at McDade Lane, Manager Dan Anderson said.

At the other end, the work will be posted one-mile ahead of the project and physically closed at Rosedale Road.

Anderson said there is one resident affected and they will be able to access their home from Rosedale Road.

North Rock Construction was awarded the contract.

Work includes the installation of a new culvert as well as paving, Anderson said. It is expected to be completed by mid-August.
