Life-size vintage carolers greet guests to the Hartwood Mansion during the annual candlelight tours.

Annual holiday candlelight tours of the mansion at Allegheny County's Hartwood Acres will be conducted in December.

Originally the private country estate of John and Mary Flinn Lawrence, each room of the Tudor mansion built in 1929 is decked out for the holidays. The tour provides a glimpse of the county estate lifestyle of the Lawrence family, with explanations of many of their holiday traditions.

Tours will be offered every hour from 4-8 p.m. Dec. 3-5, 11-12. Cost is $6 for residents; $8 for those who don't live in Allegheny County.

Tour reservations are required by calling 412-767-9200.
