Residents looking for a sweet way to spend Valentine's Day can take in a showing of “Love at The Oaks” by Stage Right Performing Arts & Education.

The cabaret show of love songs runs Feb. 14-17 at The Oaks Theater in Oakmont. It features classics from Broadway musicals and movies. Singers include a local all-star lineup of Stage Right performers, as well as an array of newcomers. A live band, featuring Commonheart keyboardist Lucas Bowman, as well as Stage Right alums Ben Bliss and Bill Rossetti, will provide the music.

Jenna Hayes is musical director.

“This is going to be a fantastic evening of entertainment,” artistic director Bill Ivins said. “We are lucky to have so much great local talent. This is the perfect event if you're looking for something special to do for Valentine's week.”

Tickets cost $15 to $25; students pay $10 with a valid ID. There will be an optional buffet dinner for an additional charge before the Feb. 14 and Feb. 17 shows. Tickets are available on Showclix by visiting stagerightpgh.org/love-at-the-oaks or theoakstheater.com/events.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and show time is 7:30 p.m. The Oaks Theater is at 310 Allegheny River Blvd., Oakmont.
