Etna residents sing at the First Congregational Cemetery during the raising of the cross ceremony.

The annual Drama of the Cross was held in Etna on Good Friday. This is the 23rd year of this event where church members from several Etna churches commemorate the passion and death of Jesus Christ by carrying a large, wooden cross through the streets of Etna. People line the streets to symbolize the walk of Jesus to his crucifixion in Calvary. The cross was ultimately erected on top of a hill in the Congregational Church Cemetery.
