Students and staff competed in a charity basketball game at Hampton Middle School on Thursday, March 22, 2018, to benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital in memory of Will Pilarski.

Will, 10, who was a fifth-grader at Central Elementary, died on Dec. 30, 2017 after a long battle with brain cancer. Diagnosed at the age of 6, Will beat Medulloblastoma after rigorous chemoradiation therapy, remained a straight-A student and was an accomplished gymnast and baseball player.

Last year, at the age of 9, he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, which he battled for more than a year. But his memory lives on through all the lives he touched.
