Motorists who travel Wildwood Sample Road in Hampton will encounter nightly detours for the next three months.
The road is expected to close overnights through December, beginning Monday, Sept. 24.
PennDOT announced the improvement work, saying it will include milling and paving, base repairs, guiderail renovations, drainage upgrades and other miscellaneous items.
The project is part of a $7 million group paving contract.
Construction will happen between Wildwood Road and Sample Road from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights through early December.
No restrictions will occur during daylight hours, officials said.
Plum-based A. Liberoni, Inc. was awarded the contract.
