Hearing scheduled for Indiana Township cell tower

Indiana Township residents can attend a public hearing on Feb. 12 to discuss the construction of a 195-foot cell tower on Francioni Hill Lane.

The meeting will be at 6 p.m. in the town hall, 3710 Saxonburg Boulevard.

Horvath Towers V LLC is seeking to build the tower at 395 Francioni Hill Lane in partnership with Verizon Wireless.

The property is owned by Valentino and Norma Francioni and is zoned medium density residential.

Supervisors will consider the conditional use application after hearing from anyone who wants to comment during the hearing.

The application is available for public review from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays at town hall.
