Here’s what’s happening around town: Thursday, Jan. 24
The United States is renowned for having one of the most sophisticated judicial systems in the world, and learning how it works can be useful in case you ever need to file a lawsuit, defend yourself in court, claim damages from the government or even pay a traffic ticket.
Long-time Senior Men’s Club member and attorney Barry Lipson will help club members and guests learn more about the judicial system and how it works at their meeting tomorrow at the Sewickley Valley YMCA.
Coffee and doughnuts will be served at 9 a.m.; the program begins at 10.
The club is open to all senior men, meets weekly and includes speakers and social events. Interested folks are invited to come to a meeting as a guest for the day. Anyone interested in joining can contact Roni Vilseck at 412-741-9622 ext. 112 or [email protected]
