Sheldon Jeter shrugged off early foul trouble to score 19 points and spark a crucial third-quarter run that carried Beaver Falls to a 46-27 victory over Monessen in the WPIAL Class AA boys basketball championshp game tonight at Palumbo Center. • Jeter, held without a field goal until the second half, scored eight points during a 14-0 Beaver Falls run that helped the Tigers pull away from a 20-20 tie. • Second-seeded Beaver Falls (24-2) held top-seeded Monessen (23-3) to just nine second-half points.
