Comcast introducing Metro Ethernet Services
Comcast Corp. said it is introducing Metro Ethernet Services in about 25 markets nationally, including the Pittsburgh region, targeting mid-sized businesses with 20 to 500 employees.
The service provides access to Comcast's fiber-optic network for businesses with high-band-width needs and multiple locations. Comcast has hired 65 workers in Pennsylvania, including about 30 in the Pittsburgh area to provide the service, said spokesman Bob Grove.
