Road crews will cause short-term lane closures on Interstate 79 and the Parkway East Saturday while they repair guide rails alongside the highway, PennDOT officials said.

From 7 a.m. to noon there will be short-term lane closures and traffic restrictions in the right outbound lane of the Parkway East at the off-ramps for Edgewood/Swissvale and Wilkinsburg; and the right inbound lane in several locations between the Wilkinsburg off-ramp and the Squirrel Hill Tunnel.

On I-79, the right southbound lane will be closed between the interchanges for Carnegie and Kirwan Heights.
