The outbound side of the Parkway East will be restricted to a single lane between the Churchill Interchange and the Pennsylvania Turnpike nightly next week, PennDOT officials said.

From 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday nights, and from 8 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday, one lane will remain open.

There will be lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays in both directions on Haymaker Road near the Parkway East for bridge work.

The construction is part of a $19 million project to repave and improve the outbound lanes of the Parkway East. Work may start later some nights to avoid traffic leaving any Penguins games.
