How special was it for you to be a part of Coach Cleary's 500th win⢠"It felt great because I've been playing for him for four years. It was a special night. I'm glad I was able to perform for him. He deserved that. I feel good about it," Tedesco said.
How do you feel the regular season went for you guys⢠"At first, our season started off rough. We played some good Quad-A teams at the beginning. Those are good for us to get better. Our season went strong through the section. Coming in second in the section is always better than nothing. Going into the playoffs, it is definitely good to get that win for Coach Cleary."
Do you know where you want to attend college⢠"My first option is Washington & Jefferson. I think I'm going to go there. I'm not positive, but that is my first choice now."
What do you plan to major in⢠"I'm going to major in biology with hopes of becoming a physical therapist. I hope to go to grad school after I get my degree in biology."
What are you going to work on in the off-season to prepare yourself for the college game⢠"I'm definitely going to work on my speed and agility. It's a higher tempo game. I also want to work on my ball-handling and shooting. I'm pretty small, so I want to be able to step it up against some of the bigger players."
How far can Serra Catholic go in the WPIAL playoffs⢠"I think if we play to our capabilities, I think we have a chance of going far. Just from there, it's all open game for everybody. As long as we win in the first and second round, I think we have a good chance. We've been working pretty hard."
What has been the most memorable moment of your high school career⢠"Hopefully, this year we'll win. That would be great. I'd say Mr. Cleary's 500th win. That's a great milestone for him. I think our team being a part of that is a great thing. I'll always remember that."
Who's the best player you've played against while in high school⢠"When I was a freshman I played against Nicky Costabile from Norwin, along with Geena Shrader from Monessen."
What's something people may not know about you⢠"On the way to away games, when I listen to my iPod, I listen to Bob Marley or country. Something to get me calmed down."
