Fairview Park Association will host Delmont-area farmer's market this summer

The Fairview Park Association in nearby Salem Township will take over hosting duties for the Delmont-area farmers' market this summer.
Borough Mayor Alyce Urban said the newly-christened Delmont-Salem Farmers' Market will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekly beginning June 2. It will be held every Saturday through September with the exception of Aug. 18, which is the association's annual community picnic.
The market will be held at historic Fairview Park, located near the corner of Old William Penn Highway and Turner Lane in Salem.
Anyone interested in becoming a vendor is asked to email farmersmarket@historicfairviewpark.com .
