Penn Hills District Judge Anthony L. DeLuca handled the following cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court. Charges were filed by Penn Hills police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

• Todd Eugene Thornhill, 37, of Penn Hills on charges of failure to register with state police. Charges were filed April 24.

• Nichelle Witherspoon, 27, of Pittsburgh on charges of driving under the influence and restrictions on alcoholic beverages. Charges were filed May 5.

• Andre Kyle Freeman, 29, of Penn Hills on charges of simple assault. Charges were filed May 23.

Freeman went before the judge on another case. A charge of flight to avoid apprehension was held for court. That charge was filed May 23.

• Corey Nelson, 20, of East Pittsburgh on charges of resisting arrest, escape and criminal mischief. Wilkins Township police filed the charges May 28.

Waived preliminary hearings

• Jada Williams, 24, of Penn Hills on charges of simple assault and harassment. Charges were filed Nov. 19, 2017.

• Adam Jacob Listopad, 32, of Monroeville on charges of driving under the influence. Charges were filed March 29.

• Gordon Nored, 39, of Penn Hills on charges of resisting arrest and simple assault. Charges were filed April 23.

• Andre Yates, 18, of Penn Hills on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of controlled substances. Charges were filed April 30.

• Rashi Stubblefield, 46, of Pittsburgh on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude officer, tampering with physical evidence, possession of controlled substances, failure to perform duties at stop sign, turning movements and required signals and reckless driving. Charges were filed May 7.
