Winners of Penn Hills Library gingerbread house contest to be announced this weekend
The Penn Hills Library will choose winning gingerbread houses on Dec. 8 as part of its annual pursuit of confectionary architecture excellence.
The competition began Nov. 26 and the 13 houses will be on display through Dec. 22.
The houses were created by children and adults, said Adult/Teen Librarian Sheryl Egeland.
Winners in multiple groups will be awarded prizes, she said.
