Indiana Jones wasn’t ever really looking for old math books, but the Manor Public Library’s “Raiders of the Lost Locker” will theme an escape-room-style team challenge on the fictional archaeologist’s Hollywood exploits.

Indiana Jones wasn’t ever looking for old math books, but Manor Public Library patrons have a chance to become “Raiders of the Lost Locker” at an escape-room-style challenge the library will host on Sept. 22.

Participants in grades 2 through 8 will work together to solve clues and gain entry to a locker that has been closed up since the 1950s. The program is free, but registration is required by emailing [email protected] .

The program will be at 3 p.m. at the library, 44 Main Street in Manor.

Other upcoming events at the library:

• Oct. 11: The library’s Bright Builders group will host a 6:30 p.m. program, constructing a machine for a “pumpkin chuck,” hurling a pumpkin. Registration is required.

• Oct. 20: The library will host a “Not So Spooky Science” day from 2 to 4 p.m. for children ages 2 and older.
