Heavy snow made for a picturesque scene at Kennywood on the first full day of Spring as it blanketed the West Mifflin park, clinging to ride cars, seats and tracks Wednesday.

Though unseasonable, the weather did not stop workers from preparing for the park's opening next month.

Inside one garage, maintenance technicians worked on pieces of the Phantom's Revenge and Black Widow, while carpenters spent time outdoors preparing the site for the construction of the new Thomas Town area.
