The Bethel Park School District will be closed Friday because of an anonymous threat of violence, according to a message posted to the district’s Facebook page .
The announcement was made late Thursday night and distributed to parents through a robocall.
The Mars Area School District issued a similar announcement on Thursday following rumors of possible violence.
