CCAC North Campus to launch Innovation Lab on Thursday

The Community College of Allegheny County's North Campus will unveil its new Innovation Lab on Thursday.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house will be held at 11 a.m. in room 1026 at the college, 8701 Perry Highway.

County Executive Rich Fitzgerald, CCAC President Quintin Bullock and CCAC North President Gretchen Mullin-Sawicki will be among the speakers at the ceremony.

Following the ribbon cutting, there will be demonstrations of various technologies, including virtual reality, multimedia software and robotics.

Student video screenings and light refreshments will follow the ceremony.
