Pittsburgh chef Kevin Sousa stands outside Superior Motors, the Braddock-based restaurant he's opening in mid-July, on Thursday, June 15, 2017.

Superior Motors

Superior Motors, the latest venture of chef and restaurateur Kevin Sousa, is expected to open July 12.

The long-awaited establishment, located in a former car dealership at 1215 Braddock Ave., will embrace farm-to-table dining, using produce from a nearby urban farm, a rooftop greenhouse and raised-bed garden. The restaurant also will provide a no-cost professional culinary and urban agriculture job training program.

Superior Motors drew financial support from a record-breaking Kickstarter campaign in 2014.
