Man pulled from Feb. 4 Pittsburgh house fire dies
A man pulled from a house fire in Pittsburgh’s Homewood section last week died Tuesday, authorities said.
The man, who the medical examiner had not identified as of mid-afternoon, was one of two people pulled from the Feb. 4 fire, according to Public Safety spokesman Chris Togneri.
Crews responded about 3 p.m. to the home on Rosedale Street, and firefighters doused the blaze within a matter of minutes, Togneri said.
A man and woman were rescued from the house, both taken to UPMC Mercy. An update on the condition of the woman, who was in stable condition upon rescue, was not immediately available.
Fire crews believe the fire began in a second-floor bedroom. Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the blaze.
