A 33-year-old man is in jail, accused of stabbing his brother during an argument Thursday in Shaler.

The stabbing was reported at 2:50 p.m. on Perry Street, Shaler police Lt. Sean Frank said.

Police found Vincent Czachowski, 39, suffering from a stab wound, and paramedics took him to a local hospital in stable condition, Frank said.

Vincent Czachowski told police he was stabbed by his brother, David Czachowski, Frank said.

Officers arrested David Czachowski and charged him with aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.
