A Shaler road reopened Thursday after being closed for more than a month.

Middle Road had been closed since Oct. 2 so crews could replace a wall about a quarter mile north of the intersection with Saxonburg Boulevard, the Allegheny County Department of Public Works said.

Allison Park Contractors Inc. of Gibsonia did the work.
