Pittsburgh Police said charges are pending against Joden Rocco in connection with the incident Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018, outside of a bar in the North Shore.

Pittsburgh police charged a man with homicide early Sunday following a fatal stabbing on the North Shore.

Joden Rocco, 24, is accused of killing Dulane Cameron Jr., police Sgt. William Vollberg said. The incident happened around 2 a.m. in the 300 block of North Shore Drive. The 24-year-old Monaca resident was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Investigators told Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV the stabbing happened as people were leaving bars in the area. That block, located between PNC Park and Heinz Field, is home to several bars and restaurants.

No further information about the suspect or the victim was released.

The investigation is ongoing.
